Notes
- Every price shown is all-in — each line price already includes Ubiquiti's memory surcharge and sales tax. Equipment is based on list price from store.ui.com (US), June 2026, plus a flat $650 Cat6 cabling & runs allowance. Shipping, mounts, and junction boxes are not included.
- All cameras are PoE and power directly from the switch over the same Ethernet cable — no separate power supplies needed.
- Tier ladder: T1 = 2K everywhere; T2 = standard 4K G6 everywhere (8MP, on-camera AI); T3 = 4K Pro-series (larger 1/1.2" sensor + 2.36× optical zoom for low light and long range).
- HDD note: UniFi 8 TB ($299) and 16 TB ($449) drives can have volatile pricing.
- Tier 2 uses 3 × 16 TB so the 4-bay UNVR still reaches ~60 days at 4K — with a 4th bay free for future expansion.
- Wireless option: any indoor camera can be swapped for the G6 Instant (4K WiFi, $179) where running a cable is hard — needs a nearby UniFi WiFi AP + USB power.
- The UNVR / UNVR Pro is a self-contained UniFi Protect console — it just needs an internet connection through the existing router.
